Our Journey

Since 2023, we have been on pursuit to reduce resource gaps, reimagine sustainable education, and address the waste problem in South Africa. To learn about our journey, we invite you to read more.

"It started by wanting to close a resource gaps in local underprivileged schools which lacked desks and chairs. Surrounded by a major plastic waste problem, and learning about global innovations, I saw the potential to make change. This begged the question - why have we not implemented simple sustainable solutions?

Across the first two years, humbled with the support of programs and micro-funding rounds to test my concept - piloting and designing low-tech machines, I tried to create my first sustainable product.
That's when the question
changed.

"Why have we not removed barriers for people to create sustainable products?"

Blueprint76 will be South Africa’s first Circular Co-manufacturing Hub.

Our mission is to remove barriers for individuals and small & medium businesses to create sustainable products.

Through our model, we reduce 76% of processing time in the cycle of waste to circular products. We will open shared light industrial workspaces, referred to as hubs, equipped with machines, tools, circular materials, and equipment for creating versatile, sustainable products.

Our workspace will be accessible through flexible membership plans to support low-volume production.

Our vision is for our member companies to scale their businesses beyond our model, enabling economies of scale to grow revenue and profits organically, continuing to build our circular economy.

While the origin of this journey is rooted from resource gaps & sustainable education in schools, this is still integrated in our broader mission. We are building capacity as an impact project under BLUEPRINT76, to make sustainable, inclusive impact for builders now, and to inspire the next generation of circular economy builders.
